Every member on AR has access to "Hit Router" on their "My Home" page. Setting up Hit Router and maximizing it's potential with lead generation and IDX solutions is exactly why it was created. The vision and goal of Hit Router was to help our members be able to direct visitors and traffic to their customized IDX sites, then convert those leads to clients and transactions. There are a couple ways you can do this, and we'd love to show you how. Understanding how to set this up properly can make all the difference in the leads you could be generating from your AR Blog.
Bob Stewart and I will be showing members how to best utilize Hit Router this Thursday at 2:00pm PST. Join us if you'd like to know more about the ways you could be using Hit Router on your Blog and for your business.
In the Webinar, We'll be Covering the Following and more:
How To Setup and Capture Your Local Market Leads

How To Create City Search Campaigns

Using IDX -vs- Websites
![]()
Understanding The "CPC Click Campaigns"

How To View Results and Reports

Understanding What "Hit Router Credits" are, and How it all Works

If you are unable to attend this particular training, we will be doing some repeats in the future. We'll also be recording certain sessions that can be reviewed later as refreshers, or by other members who may be interested in some of these topics and trainings. We hope to have these available weekly to the AR Community. If you have topics or suggestions for future AR Webinars, let us know your needs.

Hi Brad-I was just asking a friend about this very thing. Great timing. Thank you for all you do. Have a great evening<SMILE>
Brad,
thank you, I wasn't using this tool but have just signed up.
Stuart
Hey Brad, The training definitely sounds 'sweet'. See you then! ~ Marian in Ann Arbor
I really, really want to see this Webinar. But I am going to be showing a referral property around that time-My luck. Great post as usual Brad.
Thanks, Brad. I've got it on my calendar!
I will be in a training at the time Brad but I would like to attend the webinar in the near future..
I will be giving a presentation to other Realty Executives brokers at that same time--about how to use social media! Good luck. I have Hit Router configured and have been tracking it a few months.
I will be attending this worthwhile meeting. I know we will learn a lot...thanks,,
Brad: I will plan to attend Bob's class tomorrow and get more details.
Brad, It's own my schedule...just depends on my setllement which may take place tomorrow.
Brad - Rock on !!! Hit router has already generated more traffic to our sites ! Is a great feature. Will miss tomorrow's webinar due to end of month settlements. Will there be a replay ?
I won't be available for this meeting are you going to have it available for download or replay at a later time?
Please let me know bridget@sjrealestateonline.com
Sorry - I just read your memo at the end of your post - I guess I will catch it next time.
Sounds good, Brad. It's on the calendar.
Jeff
Learned so much in the first webinar that I'm a sure thing!
Please let us know if we can listen in later. Perhaps like some others I have a conflict at the given time.
I will try and record the majority of this session so those of you who can't make it can come back to this post and watch it. I will edit the post and add links for streaming video, and give you the option to download the Webinar to your hard drive and watch it with the Webex player. Looking forward to seeing many of you there, your live questions and participation is what really makes these webinars so useful and beneficial to others, thanks. :-)
I will be out on appointments, so I will miss this, but looking forward to watching the recorded session.
Brad..yes will be there on webinar--you are 4 hours behind us in MI right, so that means 6:00pm our time I hope, if not, then hope to catch you on the flip side later.
Thanks for the opportunity.
Barb [Sal will at KW for training}
That looks like a good thing to see Brad.
Brad - if I'm not showing homes in the rain tomorrow, then I'll be there. Thanks!
Thanks for the training, this sounds absolutely wonderful. I just love all of the support that we get here.
Brad - Does this work in New York City? I never see NYC show up when i type it in. Thanks, Rich
Hope I can make it. If not, I'll be looking for the recorded session. Thanks for making it available for us.
Rich - I just checked and it comes up New York, NY and New City, NY. but I didn't see a link to NYC. I'll let the guys know. :-)
Brad- I get tons of questions on this so I am glad you are having a webinar about the hit router.
great subject for a webinar!
Barb - not sure if it's a 4 or 3 hour difference in MI. I think 3. Hope to see you there. :-)
Brad - Thanks for having this webinar - great subject. I would really like the information but have a previous appointment. I'm glad ya'll will be doing some repeats. Thanks!
Mary
Good info. I look forward to participating.
Hi Brad: Did that use to be called the "listing router" or am I confused with something else?
:)
Matt - Yes. Hit Router was formerly referred to as "Listing Router" and recently changed. Sorry for the confusion, hope all is well. :-)
Hi Brad - sorry another question - sorry to be a NOOB - is the hit router only for Realtors?
:)
Matt - I'm not a REALTOR and I use it, guess you'll just have to join the webinar to find out? :-O
Hope you can make it.
That would be a great question to ask when you come to the training.
PS - No need to comb your hair or dress up for these AR webinars, that's a beautiful thing. lol~
I'd love to hear about this please let me know when you will hold a webinar.
Thanks,
Patricia Aulson/Portsmouth NH Real Estate
Hi Brad: I didn't know that - I had clicked on it before to try it out and it looked like the Listing router (now the Hit Router) didn't work for me so I assumed it was just for Realtors - I will have to check it out.
Thanks!
:)
Patricia - that's what this post is all about, the webinar we are holding today at 2:00pm PST. Hope to see you there.....
Brad.. webinar log in denied--password? guess I missed the boat here, looking for future items.
Barb D
I missed the boat too; I think I got the time wrong... it should have been at 5 p.m. my time, but I couldn't connect.
I hope you do this again.
You are always filling the AR agents with good information. Thanks for taking the time.
Darn anyhow.....missed this webinar but it's been on my mind to figure out the hit router thing. Thanks for the recorded one.....more work/play for me. And I thought I had a day off!
Brad,
Thanks for the post. I missed the session, but really appreciate having the opportunity to download the webinar for review. Thanks for all your effort.
Brad, Really sorry I missed the seminar. However, I did sign up for campaign and have not had one hit. I think I did something wrond. So, I will check..Thanks
Monique - I added the recording of the webinar to the bottom of the post. Let me know if you need some help, I'd be happy to assist you if you need. Thanks. :-)
Barb and Sal - password is always ARtraining1, you won't need it to watch the recorded session of the webinar. :-)
Sylvie - I uploaded the webinar recording for you since you were unable to attend. Hope that helps.
Brad....thank you for the downloads for: player & recorded webinar. Know that it will be a great help for my understanding the process.
Barb & Sal
Had a problem getting a unique URL for my searches. Talked to the help desk for my website. Needed to create a LINKED SEARCH. Now Hit Router works like a charm for me
So, if others have a Linked Search function, this may be the secret and save some time getting set up.
Barb and Sal - understanding the process is important, implementing an effective plan is the key to making this work. :-))
Irene - this is the exact message we are trying to convey to members. You'll want to check out my next post, it's an important announcement that ties this all together. The time you've invested in getting this to work correctly may be the most important thing you've done on AR.
this looks like a great idea - I am sorry I missed the webinar.
Brad,
I watched the webinar and do not see where I could have done anything different when setting my free hit router up. I still can not get it to hit my website from another computer. I checked the link and made sure it pushed me to my site, I have checked my area on the campaign search and no one has done anything as far as that goes - still .49 cents. Maybe it is my website? Just unable to push it there? Thank you for the webinar - it was very informative.
B
Hi Lisa - you should use an IDX site and not a website as explained in the webinar video. The free market searches will only work if a visitor is on YOUR page, profile, or Blog post, and no one else has paid for a campaign in the area they are searching. (you'd have to logout, go to your page or profile, then test it from there) If you are still having challenges or difficulties getting this to work, please call me in the morning so I can walk you through it and explain all the details. It might be easier that way. :-)
Lise - sorry you missed the webinar, but at least you can still watch what was recorded, it's almost as good as being there... kinda.. :-)
Sorry I missed the webinar but thanks for providing us with a link and download to it. It seems that AR is always coming up with great tools to help us. Thanks.
Michael - hope you enjoy the webinar video, there is some great tips and advice on there, and I hope you can use it. :-)
Hi Brad ~ I just watched the webinar video on generation leads from "Hit Router." Thank you for posting it.
I am happy to report, thanks to Bob Stewart who walked me through the process when I set up my Outside Blog, that my free "markets" were set up correctly. I send everyone to my Vision site. Each City was set up correctly, they did not go to my home page, they actually went to the City they were requesting.
I was so happy when I tested them that they were doing what you were talking about in the webinar, they went to the city and not just a home page.
I also just finished settingup my new campaigns for Hit Router. I sent them to my vision site as well and am looking forward to many leads from this. Thanks again for the webinar, you AR guys really are the coolest!!
Terrie - that is so awesome!! I just reblogged your comment over on the "Hit Router" Important Announcement post, I hope you don't mind. Thanks so much for taking the time to share that and I KNOW you will be sharing your successes with us all in the future. I'm looking forward to seeing and hearing how putting this all together will work for you.
You rock, and Happy Mothers day to boot! :-)
Brad - thank you again for visiting Empire Realty Associates at our training room in Danville last week! We are all excited about hit router and appreciate your help. Hope to see you soon,
hank perry
president
Brad,
Thanks for this webinar. It was very helpful and took care of one more "To Do item" on my list. I wanted to find out about this for awhile now. I thought the presentation was very clear and well presented. The questions I had were answered at the end. Now I am going to implement it.
Hank - thanks for having me and thank you for your comment. You have a great group of Agents who are obviously on the cutting edge of Social media marketing and networking. Looking forward to seeing the growth that a tool like this could create in your area.
Anja - I wish more people would take the time to watch these webinars, it makes much more sense and these tools become much more effective when they do. Thanks for taking the time to invest in yourself, I hope it will come back to you 10-fold. :-)
Brad..Is there somewhere I can go to watch this video that i Missed???
Hannah - you're too funny! Did you see the links at the bottom of this post????? :-O
Hello Brad,
I'm sorry that I missed the webinar. I will check out the video link that you provided! I'd love to learn more about Hit Router, etc. Thank you!
Rita
Dear Brad,
When will you be doing this again. It looks very interesting. THanks!
Betina
Hi Betina - we won't for awhile, that's why we included the recorded links at the bottom of the post for you.
No worries, Here they are again:
Click here for streaming Video of the recorded webinar
Click here to download the Webinar to your Computer
Brad. Very helpful and very valuable info. 49 cents a click is very cheap for a potential lead
Brad. I am loading the seminar as I type. I am looking forward to hearing more about this service. Can other agents share an area or is it a first come first serve basis?
Mark - it is a first come first serve basis but members can be outbid on the paid campaigns.
Dear Brad, Thanks for the links I will check it out. Thanks a million!!
;)
Definitely going to give this a try! I love all that AR has become since signing up!
Chris - it works. We had nearly 100,000 homes searches run on AR month before last, I'm sure the numbers are even higher now.
Okay, I think I am starting to understand how it works a little bit better. I am also trying out Market Leader - which is quite a bit more expensive!
Thanks Brad. This is going to very helpful to me. I am learning more about how AR works every day through these tutorials.
How does Hit Router differ from Pay Per Click via search engines?
I had a very busy and prosporous year and have gotten behind on the apps. I'll have to hire someone to help me keep up :_)
Brad,
Once again thanks, I plan to work on this today. I appreciate all the guidance in my first week. Fyi I got featured for the first time yesterday and mentioned you in the blog.
Chris - congrats on your featured post, you had quite the first week on AR and I was excited to see all that you have learned and selflessly shared with others. Great job, keep up the good work. :-)
Brad,
It constantly amazesme how much there is to overlook on AR! I had finally found out that I could set-up a hit router and now I find that was only half of it! Got ago, have to start a campaign! Thanks
Brad,
Thanks for all of the info. This will give me even some more items to research and implement on AR. The list keeps growing. ~Doug
I'm glad this is still available. Thanks Brad. margaret C.
Thanks for the information and links! I'll watch the replay of the Webinar today. Have a great Friday!
Hi...
Those links aren't working for me... Will you be offering another webinar on this subject?
And.. what is IDX? lol
~ Vienna
I would like to watch the webinar or at least read the text version of the training but like Vienna - the links appear to be broken or old...
Hi Angela - unfortunately we do not use the Webex account anymore so the links that used to show these videos are no longer active, I will remove them right away. You can always join us at ActiveRain University for some free training if you'd like, there is a link on the main page of AR. Just look for ActiveRain University and we'll hope to see you there. :-)
Hello Brad, I watched this webinar at least twice, and set up a bunch of landing pages as you and Bob suggested. However, my IDX solution is iFramed in but still on my main site.
I seem to see a moderately large number of what I think are other AR member hits as they are perhaps just checking to see who's bidding each city. The reason I sense that is that the number of Bounces is much higher than for a PPC visitor stream from Google.
I know Google has put in measures to prevent our Competitors from running up our PPC pay outs. Has AR put in any measures to similarly protect us, your paying customers? For example, if another AR member is logged in it would seem that Hit Router could check that IP address and not count visits from those IP's as chargeable.
I expect there may be other filtering possibilities as well that I don't know about; the point is I don't mind paying for legitimate home-shopper clicks and want to know I'm not subsidizing the account of another AR member or otherwise paying for useless clicks. Thanks! John
Do you have a video or something I could read about hit router? I just set mine up but I do not know how it works.
Alexander-Slocum REMAX Team - AR does has some tools and instruments in place that prevent this from happening but for a technical explanation, you'd need to contact the tech dept at support@activerain.com for a better understanding than I can provide here in the comments.
Alan - no videos that I'm aware of, but there are plenty of Blog posts out there, just search "Hit Router" using the AR search tool, or you can check the AR Manual at ActiveRainManual.com. Hope that helps. :-)
Haven't got time to read this today but I'm dying to learn more at RainCamp in Houston! Then I can write about it!
Ok I missed it by 2 years! Brad...how do we get information now? :-)
Wendy - you can contact me anytime, I'd be happy to help. :-)
