Great idea to subscribe to their blogs there Brad. That way I can go read their blogs, they all can't be featured but probably worthy of it.
They all definitely deserve kudos for all their great achievements. Of course each of these people have given Active Rain and the community of AR as well as the rest of the world a ton of content. All of these people add value because of the quality of their content which leads me to my question:
Would Active Rain rather have quantity of content or quality of content?
I think each of these bloggers on your list know how much I like them and I am friends with most so my next question is not to negate their contribution in any way because the bloggers on your list do write good quality content.
Would you rather be known for the quantity of your content of for the number of subscribers you have? My point is, you can write a bunch of boring no one reads, you can write a bunch of posts that have two or three sentences and no one reads? Or would you rather have subscribers? This is a great list, Brad. I know that Chris Fisher is a fine representation of what a virtual assistant is and totally deserves to be #1. All the best and congratulations to those who have Number 1 ranking in these fields. In my own area commercial real estate, I want to particularly congratulate Robert Swetz. I'll never catch him, he's several hundred thousand points ahead, but even though he's number one on the AR list, I'm number 3, which interestingly still makes me number 1 when someone is looking in Canada.
Without Robert's presence, there wouldn't perhaps be the same degree of credibility associated with my # 3 ranking.

Blogging/Activerain sure has come a LONG way from the beginning in 2006! Congratulations on putting together a well rounded list of AR bloggers/contributors.
I'm so excited to see so many of my AR friends that made this list! Just goes to show how persistence, consistency, and commitment all pay off. I'm so proud of our hometown builders - Stanton Homes! Way to go Penny!!

Nice! It's good to see the list of other professionals that we don't often pay as much attention to (non realtors and brokers).
Awesome to all the #1's and you for pulling this together, Brad. Looks like my subscription list needs to get a wee bit longer.
The comment that some on the list no one recalls makes it like a cruise ship. There are activities for everyone but some folks you never see because their interest, blogging is about this and this and this. They hang out in a different lounge than you. For now. Until you decide you need to bone up on Joomla websites, video, how to evict dead beat tenants, etc. You have not met them all. Yet. But if you migrate to a whole different interest area in another part of the AR library five stories up, with this many members, it is easy to not know or bump in to the rest of the university contributors/students. Keep blogging, producing the key.
This was not a competition post, rather a recognition post. :-))

What a list! It just keeps getting better here on AR! The winners deserve to be recognized, thanks Brad for all of your efforts and to them for their efforts!
Brad... WOW.... first off, thank you sooo much for putting this list together and for the recognition. It definitely is an honor and it's nice to see hard work pay off. I feel a tad guilty because I didn't blog the last 2 months of the year... but I was just sooo burnt out and had a few other things on my plate.
I do want to say that this is an awesome place and that I am ready to getting back to myself in regards to blogging in 2010... and that I am working on another project with some members that will be rolling out in 1 month.. so stay tuned. I do want to add this,... when I first joined in October 2007, thanks to Brian Brady, there might have been around 3,500 of us? To watch Active Rain grow throughout the years has been amazing.... and to see where it is now... and most of all, to be a part of it has been an honor and a pleasure. I just want to thank all at Active Rain, such as yourself, that has made this the best Real Estate networking group on the net. Thanks
Lastly... I wanted to congratulate everyone that made this list.... such a powerful list that I am proud to be a part of .... thanks again and best of luck to everyone in 2010. Now to go get a blog out as not to disappoint anyone... ;o)
