I am still crying about NYC, anyone who can go should go. Or they will find themselves in my position, crying about missing it. :(
Andrea Swiedler (Prudential Adams & Associates, REALTORS, New Milford CT)-I am still crying too like a big cry baby. I definitely hope to be in the one in DC-May. Thanks for sharing this Brad.
I am sure this is going to be AWESOME and whoever shows up will learn more than they can imagine. I might try and make it but have closings scheduled around then.
BTW thanks for turning on to Posterous, I am having a ball with it!
Calling all cowboys and cowgirls......saddle up your horses and git along to Dallas raincamp! Best camp around and ya'll be real glad you took my word on it. Yehaa! Ok so I may not have the right 'lingo' but hey - I sure wish I could make that one too. San Fransisco Raincamp was Fantastic!
I'm sure it'll be another sell out performance!
Russell - you better be there!! Bring your clients if you have to, I don't care, you don't want to miss this... :-)
Boy I wish we could get there for that one, doing any 2for1 deals for husband /wife teams?
Don't you hate it when we beg!
Any of you in Texas make sure to go. Raincamp NY was one of the best camp and RE learning experiences around. Not to mention the fun of getting to meet all those online friends in person. You'll be sorry if you miss it.
OMG. I thought it was the beginning of Feb, now i'm gonna miss it! Wahahhahahahaah. I JUST booked a trip to Florida for Nascar. Wahahahahhaahah. I guess this means I have to go to one out of state. Ok, i'm there. :D
Oh, so laughing cause I'm right behind my sister!
I WANT TO GO, with or without her!
ATTENTION EVERYONE IN THE DALLAS AREA. IF YOU HAVE A CHANCE, *****YOU MUST GO*****. I WANTED TO BUT COULDN'T RESCHEDULE 2 APPOINTMENTS. Everyone that went to the one in NYC raved about it. I don't plan on missing the next one... whenever that might be.
Brad,
Had it on the calendar for the 2nd. Will rearrange some things... SEE YOU THERE!
Finally!! I've been waiting for the final word (as you Know). I may have to change a few things around, but will be there for sure.
Wow! I am going to do what I can to get there.
I'm waiting for Chicago which I hear is coming soon.
After 3 weeks in Dallas, I will have just left for Maryland. Bummer! It would have been such a great opportunity to meet some rainers in this part of the country. 'Know it will be great. Any plans for one on the east coast... maybe Baltimore?
Thanks for the update Brad, how can you not be there if you are serious about your business!!
WHat the H-E double hockey sticks? Why are you changing the date again, and one week from the event? You know many of us have had to arrange travel plans to be there, right? I am so not happy right now, and wondering why Dallas was done half-arse!
Dude who's that ugly guy in the front in NY? Dallas venue looks sweet.
Donna - we had some challenges with the venue and details that were originally setup. They simply couldn't meet our needs or the needs of our guests. It was out of our control. I'm sure you understand how these things can go when setting up an event of this magnitude. We had to change a few things, make some new arrangements, and make some sacrifices as well. But we never quit or gave up, and our Team managed to pull it all together. Sorry for the inconvenience, I hope you can understand. Thanks. :-)
I already have an all day commitment for February 16th. When is RainCamp coming to the Southeast...I think Birmingham would be a great location!
Sounds interesting Brad. FINALLY in our North Texas backyard!!
Brad - it must be the big one because everything is big in Texas!! I am going to have to try and make it to one of these soon!
Hmmmmmmmmmm - once again I don't see anyplace in NC on the Rain Camp list. :)
You couldn't get Cowboys Stadium? It would have been fun to see what some of the blogs look like on the 72' x 160' high def big screen. Have fun in the big D!
Hi Brad... I'm gong to be there! Looking forward to seeing everyone there... since everything is bigger in Dallas, this should be GREAT!
I am attempting to clear my calendar to attend. It sounds fantastic!
Brad - the state of Texas will never be the same! This should be a great event for all. Looking forward to a RainCampo close to home before the end of 2010! From the folks I have talked to, this is an event NOT be missed.
Jeff
What are the other locations and times? I really do want to come, but need to find a location closer to me, if possible???
Thanks Brad! I will have to try to schedule a trip to Dallas...
Yipee! I've been hoping you'd pick a day that's clear on my calendar and you did. I'll be there.
Brad - I will be there. I was planning on next week, which was a bit challenging. This date will actually work better for me, as it turns out. I look forward to seeing you again!
Come to Cleveland! See the Rock and Roll Hall of fame, catch LeBron in action, Michael Symon (Iron Chef)'s restaurants and the list goes on!
Now I'm just getting downright frustrated. When is Rain Camp coming to Central Florida!?
For those who haven't been, this is an incredible event. Still hoping you guys will be down in the OC soon.
Thanks everyone for commenting, we're coming to Dallas and then ????? as fast as we can! It takes a lot of people, a lot of time, and a lot of hard work to set up these RainCamps. Please have patience with us, I promise we are coming around to the different parts of the Country. There's so many details to be worked out for each city and venue.
We will be coming to many cities this year, and we're committed to making each event as good or better than the last. I promise to let everyone know about each and every RainCamp Event as soon as we have dates and details locked down for each one.
So fer now, better get yer Hat on and yer boots shined, cause we're coming to Texas for a "RainCamp Hoe Down!"
(did i spell that right?)
For real - I think I paid $179 back in December...... Grrrrrr and I bought 2 tickets back when no other "levels" of tickets were available. Wassup with that? Or was I absolutely going nuts back in December. You might need to clarify this.
I went back to the previous link when it was first announced. The Eventbrite order feature is disabled. You know I have been telling everyone (non-AR people) about the event. I'm glad you have levels of tickets, but for those I made sure they were going to hang in there with me weren't given the choice to choose. Another grrrr....
I usually dont complain. You know that. Right now, I'm grrrrrr. My word is my everything.
Hi Loreena -
We can exchange your ticket for another level if you'd like, or you can stay a Platinum Supporter at the discounted price. Remember, your Platinum ticket gets you the Shift book, a drink ticket, all the other Platinum benefits, and access to all RainCamps through 2010 (we may be back in Texas before the end of the year). Just let me know, or you can email me if that's easier? Thanks. :-)
You picked Mardi Gras day?!?!?!?!? Sheesh....
A BIG TEXAS SIZED WELCOME TO DALLAS! Dallas is perfect for the event. I cannot wait to meet all the Rainers there.
Looking forward to RainCamp in Nashville, TN. Do we have a date yet ? Maybe I missed it :)
I am changing the date on my calendar and looking forward to MEETING you all in Dallas!!
After I've slept since I commented on this post, I am glad there are 3 levels of tickets. It took some convincing that it may be the best thing ever that would happen to their blogging career - if they would just attend. Now, at $59, it would be an awesome opportunity. So thanks for offering them. I'm sticking to my tickets though.
Once an AR supporter, always an AR supporter.
Hi Brad,
This sounds like an awesome event! The middle of February is out for me but please come back to Texas another time this year..how about Austin?? Everyone who goes swears by the event and I'll be watching the blogs on how it goes.
I had a wonderful time in NYC and I would strongly recommend that you make one of RainCamp event.
RainCamp Dallas style should be a blast.
Reschedule appointments or get coverage and go to RainCamp! It is worth it.
And Loreena - Platinum rocks! You'll look wonderful in your RainCamp tee shirt...
Brad,
Sorry to say that Dallas is not convenient, and I'm still waiting for Toronto. But, now that I think of it Dallas does have better weather in February.
Brian
I've been able to reschedule my room and board, but now I'm waiting to hear back from some buyers to see if we can reschedule their appts. I'm going to try to make it, but it's hard since my parents had already scheduled some things around next week's time frame.
I understand you guys were working on it, and that's why several of us kept confirming there was no date change, and yet, we get notice of a date change. It's just disappointing, and a lot of work at rescheduling... I'm not good as a "pop tart Realtor" with last minute scheduling.
Brad, how terrific! I'm from Dallas and would so love to come and just soak it all up again. Having been at SF RainCamp...I can't encourage people enough to attend. It is so jam packed with the latest and greatest on all levels. Thanks for a great time in SF and I know Dallas will be awesome! I would sign up in a heart beat for the Platinum Pass. Go Rainers!
RainCamp in New York was very informative and helpful. I am glad I went to it, for anyone that is pondering if they should visit RainCamp in Dallas Texas, I suggest "JUST DO IT!".
Hahahaha~ Someone just emailed me and asked if I was wearing my Hat and Boots to Dallas RainCamp? Are you kidding me? Any guesses who that one was from? LOL~
Is Bob Stewart even allowed in Texas? I'm thinking y'all better double check...
Just signed up for 2. Looking forward to it. Hopefully some more Oklahomans will sign up to keep those Texans honest. FYI, I rooted for you guys against Alabama. For the sushi and Japanese food enthusiast check out Steel and the Tei Tei Robata Bar. Hope to see more food reviews before the event.
Woo Hoo! I wasn't gonna be able to do the 2nd, so now I'm doing my best Cowgirl Jig and Happy Dance that it's the 16th!! I'm THERE!!
Looks very cool! Whish I was closer and/or going to be in the area!
We will be there. How could we miss it if it is in our backyard.
That is awesome that it's in Dallas! I just signed up and will be there! Looking forward to meeting the staff and other Active Rainers from Dallas & around the country.
Looks Pretty Awesome!!1 Are you guys coming to the Chicago area anytime in the future????
Brad, if you guys have a schedule you could post for upcoming RainCamp events, I'm certain it would be appreciated by those who would like to attend one.
Any chance of coming to the Raleigh area?
If you got this far down reading comments... and you haven't been to a RainCamp... GO...
You'll be glad you did.
How many more days until San diego!!??? I am ready!!
I am anxiously awaiting the DC event, any idea when that will be?
"Brad, if you guys have a schedule you could post for upcoming RainCamp events, I'm certain it would be appreciated by those who would like to attend one."
Craig - we tried doing that, but unfortunately, sometimes there are circumstances out of our control which can cause the dates and venues to change. This can be challenging for both our staff and the members who plan around those tentative dates.
Solution: Every RainCamp event will always be posted at RainCamp.com. Each city will also have its own webpage, IE: RainCampDallas.com.
We will do our best to provide "early" announcements as each of the dates and venues get confirmed.
These are some of the tentative Cities we have on the schedule, but no confirmed dates or venues just yet:
Orange County, Las Vegas, Chicago, Orlando, San Diego, Washington DC, Atlanta, Denver, Phoenix, Minneapolis, Houston, Portland, Nashville, Indianapolis, possibly Salt Lake City and Cleveland.
(This is not our complete or confirmed list for the 2010 tour schedule)
Registered and EXCITED! Anxious to meet so many of you and learn so much!!
If you can make it go. Rain Camp is a great experience and will help you in your business.
Brad, It looks like these Rain Camps are keeping you in frequent flyer miles.
Enjoy,
Steve
Brad - Yea! So glad to see the date & place are confirmed for your Texas stop. Now I have to do a little rearranging so I can get there too.
Brad: This looks great, and Steve Shatsky is encouraging me to go to this... but WOW... going into downtown Dallas is such a "bitch !" If I go, I may have to sleep in the parking lot overnight to assure that I get there on time. Dubble Yikes !
I am waiting for you to come to Denver! I will be there! It sounds like a great day of learning and more.
Karen - I understand that DART comes right to the building, maybe that would be a better option than sleeping in the parking lot overnight? Also, maybe you could carpool with someone in the area as another option, I know that the rainers in the area are always willing to support and help other members... just a couple thoughts. :-)
Thanks Brad. There just has to be a way that I can get myself to this thing. I just know it will be a great presentation.
Brad - I hope you don't mind me hijacking your post. I wrote about where perhaps Karen can sleep at night instead at the Dart station and do that Pursuit of Happyness thingy.
Bigger and Better Raincamp Dallas - Where to Stay
Loreena - thanks for posting that, great information for those coming from the outer areas. :-))
It's pretty clear to me that people in Texax need to clear their schedules to make the Dallas RainCamp. NY was awesome. By the way, that me in the 2nd row on the far side in NY. Vivian
Vivian - I'm glad you made it to RainCamp NY and also made it in the photograph. It's great to hear you enjoyed the day! Thanks. :-)
Don't give up on Southern California! I heard you had a scheduling hiccup and had to cancel. I wish I heard you had to "postpone". Please figure out a way to come see us.
Hey Vic - "postpone" would be the appropriate term as opposed to "cancel." We will be coming to Southern CA. :-)
Thanks for posting Brad! I will be there and yes DART stops there but be prepared for a very steep escalator ride up to the building... I swore I'd never take DART to CityPlace again because of that way too high escalator - vertigo anyone?? =)
Oh you're hitting all my favorite cities - and one of my very favorite is Dallas - you should have an amazing turn out there! Now brad I wanna see a pic - of it and you! I still have my very first pony tail.........hmm maybe that's kinda weird, ....lol
Just got my Platinum Access Pass!
Liz - you got it. I have it wrapped up in my dresser drawer. lol~
Karen - AWESOME! Can't wait to see you there, it will be a day in Texas you won't soon forget! I promise!! :-))
I'm SOOOOO beyond excited.
Maybe next year, you guys can dole out RainCamp 'Advent' calendars, so all us giddy agents can count the days like Christmas! :D
@Ashley - lol~ We're excited too!! :-)
Ok...I'm in. Can't wait to see yall!
MeLisa - looking forward to it. Make sure you block out the entire day and evening, you don't want to miss what we have planned for you or be distracted by anything else that day. :-))
Brad:
I asked for it, you gave it to us, and I am all paid up and rarin' to go!
Thanks, and look forward to meeting you and other 'Rainers!
I just switched my flight's to come back a day early from FL & fly right into Dallas! I will be there w/bells on. YippPPEEeeeee!!
Okay, I am trying to decide between Platinum and Premium. Can you tell me more about Jay's social media e-book? I am excited about meeting everyone.
Kristin - that's awesome!!! (are they BIG Bells?) lol~
Sharon - Go Platinum, it's worth it. You'll get the book too... :-)
Been here in a while but did nothing at all, then I start seeing e-mails about the raincamp. I thought I check it out, the event looks interesting, and its only about 3-3.5 hr drive from Austin.
So I did register, so now I'm excited! looking forward to learn new things.... and meet cool peeps from all over!
So yeah, I did spend a little more to get the platinum. I hope it's really worth it ;) !!!
Brad, I'm so excited, from Surprise to Dallas! Got a platinum pass and will be seeing you in a few days.
Sam - I'm confident you'll be pleased with the event and your platinum pass purchase. Cya there! :-)
Leolinda - looking forward to seeing you again, have a safe trip over and come with an empty cup, a note pad, and a full pen. :-)
Have ticket, will travel. I look forward to meeting and networking with all of you next week. Be safe while traveling!
Tickets are printed and heading to Dallas tonight....See you in the morning!!
Look forward to meeting you'all and Thank You
Signed up and leaving in the a.m. for Dallas!
Boo. Hope you kids all made it back home okay. Just wanted to jump in and tell you what a fantastic event Raincamp is and I am glad y'all came to see me.
Hugs to the Three B's...Bob, Brad and Ben....you guys rock! Say hey to the AR staff also--they did a great job. Next time, I want to hang out with Crista...I bet she's as cool as all of you.
Amanda - it's always great to see you at ANY RE event, and yes, Christa is just as cool if not a tad bit cooler than all of us!! :-)
