ActiveRain RainCamp - Bringing April "Showers" to Chicago
The ActiveRain Team and "RE Camper" are coming to Chicago on Monday, April 19th, 2010. This first time event in Chicago will be held at the Wojcik Conference Center at Harper College. Here's a map to help you get to 1200 W. Algonquin Rd. in Palatine, IL. We'll be in Building "W" for those planning to join us. Registration will begin at 8:00am, the RainCamp conference will run from 9am - 5:00pm, and the "power-hours" special gathering after will be from 5:00 - 7:00pm. Special Gathering details will be announced at RainCamp.
There are only 250 tickets available. Our other venues have all held a minimum of 350. This means seating is at a premium and we are expecting a quick sell out, so don't be left without a ticket.
The one question you may be asking, "Why would I want or need to attend a Real Estate RainCamp?" Here's the answer: Real Estate RainCamps are designed to bring you the most valuable tips, tools, ideas, and social media education and information that will empower you and take your business to the next level. In this ever-changing Real Estate Market and Industry, the way we do business has changed. You'll have an opportunity to walk away with some of the best proven practices to enhance and grow your business. Effective Strategies that can be implemented easily and immediately!
Thousands of people have joined us and walked away reinvigorated and focused on transforming the way they prospect and do business. Take a minute to see what some of those people had to say about their RainCamp experiences.

Personally, this is one of the best "one day" events I've ever had the pleasure of attending. Coming from a background of sponsoring events like this, I have never seen a day that packs in so many people and delivers so much useful and relative content in the past 25 years. The room seems to buzz with a "rainergy" like I've never experienced before. I can give you my personal guaranty that once you come to a RainCamp event, you'll never want to miss one again.
The information shared is new, fresh, tested, and if you apply what you learn, and incorporate these strategies, you'll acheive much greater success, do it in less time, and with less effort and stress. RainCamp is an event where you'll walk away with more than you ever came to expect.
We're really excited and looking forward to coming and "showering" Chicago with RainCamp! :-)

When is it going to rain in Phoenix? We would love to have one here!
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I wish I could go - I am chomping at the bits to attend one and unfortunately I have a big commitment that I cannot get out of in April. Any chance you'll be bringing another one close to Ohio?

When are you going to come the "the Live Free or Die State of NH?" Come on up, please.

How about doing one in Phoenix in August when the weather is very nice, only around 110 degrees. :-)
My vote--Washington, DC
Let us know when and I will be there.
Will you be coming back to northern California - Sacramento maybe? Reno or Tahoe would be a great venue? I know too close to others and too soon, but we can hope.

Raincamp is one of the best 'catalyst' conversations for understanding contemporary real estate marketing in the country today. If you want to be on the forefront and learn what ideas, methods, and technologies to adopt, then this is the place to be.
Thanks Rene - fabulous testimonial, one I'll most likely use on the RainCamp Squidoo page.
Brad, I sure wish ActiveRain Camp would come to Southern Oregon one of these days.
Brad - Be sure to check which parking lots are available to attendees. Many college campuses have specific public and visitor lots.
Hello all who read this:
Please do whatever you can to attend RainCamp CHigago if you live anywhere near. Heck, fly if you have to!
Why should someone need or want to attend Rain Camp? So that they can better understand blogging, social networking and how to get more business from the efforts. Oh yes, and let's not forget the networking opportunities.
John - great tip, thanks.
Aaron - Coming from the West Coast, I have to fly! lol~ :-)
Christine - always great to see you at these RainCamps,
Las Vegas was great and thanks for being on the panel.
Blog-N-Roll...
Florida is patiently waiting. Really :)
TLW...ROAR!
I went to rain camp in Dallas...it rocks!
I hope you are ready for the showers. We had a microburst last night that blew the roofs off 2 local business buildings and put thousnads in the dark. Hopefully we will have calmed down a little by then. Cannot make it I have a client coming in from Florida-maybe next time.
Go to Rain Camp it is the most fantastic even you will attend.
It looks like you guys had a good time.
I am sure now you are charged like Mr and Mrs 1000 Volts.
Talk you soon
Realtor Timo Kansas City
Brad - Yep I loved the NYC Raincamp Only regret was we didn't get to spend some more time together..
For those of you thinking of going... stop thinking about it and just do it.. You wont regret it...
Thank you guys, this will be a smaller venue, but dynamite comes in smaller packages!! lol~
Hope everyone in the Chicago area can make it. :-)
Sounds like another great event.... Looking forward to one in Nashville :)
So excited!!!! RainCamp always leaves the attendees wide eyed and smiling....Chicago Here We Come!!!!
Hi Brad-
Outside of the wonderful contacts with fellow real estate professionals, and an understanding of social media, are there other ways this can help me as a home inspector?
Any comments from other Home Inspectors that have attended?
Hey Rich, great question. The tools, principles, techniques and ideas we share at RainCamp apply to anyone in the Real Estate Industry or any business for that matter. I wouldn't be surprised to see more folks coming to these events who may not even be in our Industry. I promise you that after you attend a RainCamp, Home Inspector or not, you'll walk away pumped with information and the necessary tools and ideas you'll need to take your business to the next level. :-)
RainCamp please, please come to Toronto, Canada. I will help you organize it.
Donna - we may just take you up on that... :-)
I serisouly wish I could go. Will be going to Chicago in June for word camp. I am very excited about it as I do some develpment and am my own web master. Chicago is not that far away. who knows. :)
Brad, I am definitely in... I am so excited, I just can not wait. I have heard such wonderful things I am hoping my brain will hold in everything I learn that day!! And can't wait to meet all you guys!!
Brad, What a fabulous opportunity! RainCamp AND a visit to Chicago! Very disappointed we aren't able to go.
waiting patiently in the Triangle (Raleigh, NC)
I am signed up and excited to go! I will be one of the non-agents in attendance. Thanks for not ignoring us here in Chi-Town!
This is killing me, I am actually going to be in Chicago on personal business that weekend but headed back to MO on Monday. Trying to see if I can schedule a different date for coming home. We are just so busy this time of year. cheryl(fingers crossed I'm attending)willis
I'd sure love to click and register but the commute is too long!!
Come to the "Live Free or Die State" and put on a AR show.
Patricia
Anyone near Chicago should make every effort to attend if you want some great info! I gained a lot of great tips when I went and walked away motivated to apply several new tools to my business. You should also know that most of the tools talked about are NO or LOW cost implementation. This is not your typical Real Estate seminar with "new tools you can use" that wind up being a program someone is trying to sell you!
So go, learn, implement, and see the benefit. Unless of course you are one of my competitors in my market, then you should not go, ever!
Chris - thanks for that great testimonial, hopefully no one in Collin County, Texas will see your comment!! lol~ :-)
Sounds good. Enjoy
Brad - I like your rumblings. If you need any help, let us know and we'll help you guys setup in the Great White North, eh? :)
Run, don't walk if ActiveRain comes to yoru city. The information was great, the testimonials awsome and it will really give you greater insight as to how you can do specific things to increase your visibility and hopefully your business. I took a laptop with me, plugged in and had all the links at my finger tips. I still carry out hard copy with my in my day planner and that was from last year. Get there early, pack a lunch and your business cards!
Brad, can't make the Chicago one, but hope to make the one in DC.
I have only been on ActiveRain for a short time and I am so excited to attend this Monday. Can we get started now?
Marc - we may take you up on that, thanks.
Lydia - you're going to ruin our "single file please, no pushing, no shoving" philosophy! lol~ Thank for the endorsement.
Marilyn - just by signing up, you are getting started now. :-))
Chicago sounds like it's going to be loads of fun. When are you coming to Philly?
Check out the TriplePlay convention in Atlantic City in early December 2010. Maybe that would be a great venue as well. 3 states (NY, NJ, PA) and more get together to party the first week of December.
<!--Session data-->
I'm all signed up for Monday....really looking forward to it!
Don't know if I can make it yet, but I'll keep it in mind.
I will be there look for me everyone. I am dusting off the Realtors lic and trying something new
Brad, I am looking forward to the event. Wouldn't miss it for anything and it's in my own backyard. Well one suburb over. Thank you for bringing it here.
I can hardly wait for Monday to come so I can learn the latest on social media. I even booked a room near by so I would not have to fight the horrible traffic on a Monday coming from the uber suburbs of Chicago.
Thanks for bringing it to Chicagoland!
LOL...
I thought I was having a flashback or something :)
Do I really have to explain that remark? :)
TLW...ROAR!
Brad - I hope you guys have a blast in Chicago. I haven't been there since 2001 (my only visit to the area, actually). Fun place!
The countdown begins. See you Monday.
My short post about my attendance.
Chicago is worth it for the deep dish pizza alone. Enjoy RainCamp everyone!
I'm voting for a Rain Camp within 300 miles of Pittsburgh, PA.
We're here in IL, it's a beautiful sunny day, and RainCamp Chicago is SOLD OUT!!!
Thanks to everyone for coming today, it's great to finally meet so many of you.
(I'm actually sitting right across from Haris right now...) :-)
